Once upon a time,

a dangerous Clown arose

and became a King.

Immediately

he replaced much that was Good

with much that was Not.

.  .  .

And some folks rebelled,

and some just buried their heads.

And soon Bad was Good.

As I recall, Michael Douglas played the part of Gekko. The dangerous clown would have been the better choice. He wouldn't even have needed a script.
