Empathy

Empathy

A Poem by Sarah Jane

My eyes graze you're flesh
Move about you're stubble
Squirm around your muscle
Stumble through your hair

I can feel them focusing
Intently searching for a way
Any way through to your head
And they're welcomed by walls

I am unsure of myself
I cannot feel what you do
And that limits to me
To my own insecurities
