Playground

Playground

A Poem by Sarah Jane
"

"

Curly Q slides and crowded swings
Which to choose, which to choose
The sandbox beckons me too
To watch and build my dreams
From little specks of sand
A familiar laughter echos from the swings
Of all the players playing

Multch covered ground beneath
To protect such tender feet
By the slides and double swings
Is where all the players meet

Curly Q slides and crowded swings

Which to choose, which to choose

Either way I stumble, I lose

Crawling back to the sandbox

To pick up the grains of my castle

I spent all afternoon on

My eyes peer along the playground

And all the players leading around young hearts

And watch them make good use

Of the multch
