(What if our life was a black and white film) The clackety projector in the background, the silver reel going round and round.
(What if our life was a black and white film) Would it be a light-hearted caper for two with outlandish pranks and derring-do or a lavish musical extravaganza with you in a tux and me in organza?
(What if our life was a black and white film) Would it be a serious and straight drama, a chick flick requiring tissues and pajamas or perhaps it would be a horrifying picture with zombies, ghosts and vampires for sure.
(What if our life was a black and white film) If I may speak and be so bold, if it were left up to me in its entirety, I have to say, the truth be told, our story would be a murder mystery.
I like how this poem starts of cutesy and romantic, then by the end lightly threatens death. It's a really unique thought, too. I mean, the question "what would life be like as a movie" comes a lot. A lot of movies are actually thought up by that very question. But you took it to another level by taking it to another era. Not to mention, your imagery is amazing. Good read, makes you think!

Thank you. You zoomed in on everything I was trying to convey.
