Blind side

Blind side

A Poem by Matthew Daalling
"

This poem is about the darker side of love. Get this, I almost wrote a haiku by mistake I was pretty stoked.

"
She blinded me with love, left me wanting in her absence.

But the secrets that she kept left my mind in steady traffic.

Yellow lights turning red are a constant moral distraction.

Fleeting thoughts hard to bear are a cause of ones in action

I can highly understand the lots of emotions in this writing, anyone can because writer wrote in that way! I loved the traffic metaphor and the way of using lights and steady is majestic. In addition great quotes are involve in this beautiful poem… This is haunting and keeps a lover awake!
