Hold me like you use to
when I got scared

Hold me to protect me
from the dangers of the world

Hold me when I need it most,
when my heart is broken

Hold me because you are my best friend
and you never want to see me get hurt

I think anyone can relate to this and embrace it. For me it reflects my inner longing to be accepted although I feel as though I am pushed away.
