Great write, I really like the image you painted in this work. But I think that the term " us against the world " is a bit over used. Maybe try re-wording it to make it uniquely exclusive to your work. :-)

There is a song that has the last line of your poem in it. I have forgotten what the song is but my mom use to sing it to me when I was young and this poem reminded me of that tune. I like the thought and idea put into this piece.
