Sound of Darkness

Sound of Silence

"I don't live in darkness, Darkness lives in me"
There seems to be no light
Shining through my eyes
The only thing coming out of my brown eyes are tiny,blue drops of tears.
Some days I want to cry but it feels like nothing comes out.
There's even days where I feel like locking myself in a soundproof room and
screaming at the top of my lungs to release the demons that
are hiding inside of me.

For a first poem, you have a good start here and the subject matter is effective. This feels like it was written from deep within, using raw emotion and personal expression. Firstly, Black Wolf is an encouraging writer on here. There are some minor grammar mistakes that the writer's group will be able to help you with especially the mediator. Frankly, I am an experienced writer, but I am awful with it as well.

Sounds of Darkness appears to be an epiphany; a writer finally opening their eyes after being born. We tend to hide in our own thoughts especially since they cannot be seen unless you want them to. Releasing emotion and thought allows us to flush out toxicities; it brings us balance.

that would be nice. i do need help with grammar work and also punctuation. before i started the writing group , i never liked to write this and once i started coming to group each week i my interest in writing grew.

Interestingly - The technique (of shouting in a room to expel 'stuff') is a real thing - called 'Primal Screaming' and gave rise to a top song here in the UK called 'Shout' by Tears for Fears.
