ATTENTION SEEKER

THE SADNESS AND DEPRESSION ATTRIBUTING TO THE FALL OF MANY
Was what I felt within the depths of my heart, longing for your warmth and touch
Kindness deep within my bones
But you're all gone due to a selfish mistake
I made,
Which was professing my love to you,
How could I have done that, woe is my heart for loving you
Curses are the butterflies in my stomach whenever I think of you.
There we were, best of friends, deep hidden secrets shared, laughter in the air
Love and warmth spread around
Then I decided to announce what I've hidden deeply
Thinking gone are those days of me being a coward, just dreaming about us being apart makes me cower
I shuddered at the thought of us not being together
Then I professed
Causing the beginning of an end
An end to a beautiful relationship
Because when I did the rejection hit me hard, in my heart holds a deep void
Which I was trying desperately to avoid
Turning into an attention seeker
Seeking for that lost friendship once more
Because it's you I'll always adore
Even when I cry till my eyes goes sore
With your warmth gone
I shall return to solitude once more
And I wish
This sadness and depression won't attribute to the fall of me
