I love this poem, Greek mythology of Selene and Prince Endymion. You have composed a superb image, but it appears you have linked in a little Hindu mythology also? I think that's wonderful...
>Play oh Sarasvati, music divine,
Many thanks for the chance to read and review. I think this is excellent writing but then, yours always is.
Lovely Dani... Romance and sensuality beckon to our spirits beyond mortal dreams. A mystical tune calls out for her lover in an enchanting ceremony of love.
So enticing and timeless... Photo transcendental...
I am a great lover of mythology and so I appreciate this piece very much, the moon Goddess in love with the shepard boy, in Greek Mythology, this could have many interpretations, I won't even go there.

Again, I love this one so much~ It breathes new life into the tired old mythology and gives them new perspectives and raison d' etre! I usually cannot see the art work at work so this is a doubly fine review! The poetry makes the painting speak so blissfully. I also love how you mix the mythologies up perfectly! Beautifully done!!!
This is beautiful Dani and it seems that I have seen a contest running that this would be wonderful to enter. I hope that you are well. I don't get to drop in and visit as often as I would like.
WOOHOO!!!! Dani, this is superbly written. I LOVE it. So sweet and fairy-tale-ish, LOL. Short and sweet, yet the rhyming is wonderfully arranged. Ahhh, mythology and astrology. Such divine studies are they, and you have out done yourself again!
A Noiseless Patient Spiderby Walt Whitman
A noiseless patient spider,
I mark'd where on a little promontory it stood isolated,
Mark'd how to explore the vacant vast surrounding,
It launch'd fort.. more..
