Storm

Storm

A Poem by Lucas Grasha

Storm

She calms the waters on the edge of my horizon,

makes the beach swept clean from its pollutants.

Her lightning strikes fire for me

when I shiver in the Black streak of Red nights;

Her hurricane expels the Red from the beach,

giving way to Her beautiful, Blue ocean eyes.

She can make the golden waves

flow and curl the same way a woman plays with her hair.

Her Rain will fall, but

I

would whisper my comforting words to still Her sorrow,

but I don’t know if She is listening.

She bares such elegance,

the pale clouds mixing with the soft blush of the early innocent sunrise.

Her breath,

Her soft

and steady wind,

how I long to hear such a beautiful song…

they say there’s calm before the storm,

but the Storm I am familiar with is the beauty and magnificence of this world…

the

Storm

I am so fortunate to know.
