Third letter to Mary.

Third letter to Mary.

A Poem by Randall
"

From my novel, Mary and Daniel.

"
My Dearest Mary,

How I'm I suppose to go on without you?
The second you left me, I was lost.
Everyone says, go on, you must be strong, go on.
But how can I, you were my strength.
Some would say if you were an old man, I would die of a broken heart.
I wish I was an old man to end it.
If you were here, there would be no question. I would stay.
Who said, a young man can't die of a broken heart.

Your Daniel
