Thoughts: My characters, my friends.

Everything is okay, I just got to thinking about a lot of things.

To my Characters. Some of you are real. some of you are made up. But all of you, are my friends. And I find I love each one of you in some way, that I really can't explain. I know each of you live in me and through me. As I try to place each of you on paper so you may outlive me in life. You may be left in the same story over and over again, but I will try my best that each story will be the most pleasant I can come up with because, you are my friends. And some of you may not make it out in time because life is full of surprises. And if you are one of those still in me, well hang on. We are going to take a hard run and jump across the Abyss to the other side. And will find out what's really over there. I hope they have paper and at least a number 2 pencil.

Thank you, Thomas. I like to think that we all make promises to the characters that we write about. Simply because most of the characters are made up of real people, friends, aquaintices and some from our imagination. I noticed that after I had finished my first novel, that two days later I missed talking to them. And I started to write the second novel. I don't mean to sound crazy, but since the characters are made up of all the people one knows. They do become your friends in a certain way. Or, "Perhaps" I should get out in the fresh air more often.
