Jesus's birthday.

Jesus's birthday.

A Story by Randall

Jesus wasn't born on the 25th of December or the 6th of January.
But it's nice to think so.
I guess it gives us something physical in our minds to hold onto.
Just like our birthdays.
Not real.
We were there, just in a different form. (Fire, water, air, earth)
As we will be after we pass.
It's what we bring to those dates. The feelings, the emotions, the beliefs.
And what we do with them that really matters.
So, if you believe in Jesus, or not. honor at least what he spoke, it was all good.
Not to be lived just on the 25th of December or the 6th of January.

Whether you Believe, or not, it was all good.

Plus, to believe in anything outside Self displays feelings often arrived at via living life and seeing what is has or has not.

What has been translated from all forms of displayed facts of that time and that blessed Being gives facts - yes, proof. Those details, some minor, others far greater, are proved by various acknowledged students of theology over years and more. The one brow raised is via the fact that some transcriptions have been made by more than one language and may be distorted here or there.

Your words are finely put and this is the time to display whatever can be and should be accepted - one doesn't have to believe but knowledge of any person who shows a permanently live presence in our oft wretched planet gives rather than destroys.

Many will say faith has caused many battles. The debate and argument goes on and on, it always will. But your words show thought and how that matters should be said throughout the year as well as this present moment. Many, many thanks for sharing, sir. Forgive me for rambling on.

There's a line in this that stands out to me, making me nod due to the esoteric lessons learned this lifetime:
"We were there, just in a different form. (Fire, water, air, earth)"
I feel like this line is digging at something deeper in the poem, and might even reflect a little bit about where you, the author, stand on those matters of belief. I happen to share that particular one, to an extent. I also happen to share that it shouldn't matter when Jesus was born. What should matter is embodying the lessons he gave while he, allegedly, walked the earth. Whether he was flesh and blood, or just a mythological story painted by those who believed in the teachings of love and mercy, the message remains the same.

Kane, you walked around my words, looking at them, and understood. Thank you. Randall...
Jesus was probably real Randall. We don't remember him for mystical or magical reasons though. It's much darker than that. There is a mildly known character in literature named Judge Holden. Jesus was probably more like that guy in real life. I still pray I am wrong of course... I pray for the miracle!! Help me Jesus!!!

I prefer my Rob's to be black... my Steve's however, usually purple.

We should talk about the literary character named Judge Holden. Randall.

I'll look up Judge Holden. So I can carry on a semi-intelligent conversation with you.
Yes, I agree. It reminds me of the Jethro Tull lyric, "He's not the kind you have to wind up on Sunday". How sad it is that so many "Christians" don't seem to know what Jesus was about.

Jethro Tull is a national treasure. You will be happy to add him to your library.
