When you really think about it, we are all just floating around in something we can't see or consciously feel. But it's all around us. On some days, you can almost feel it, then it slips away before you can grasp it. May you find what you've always wanted under your tree. Then again, maybe you've always been in possession of it.
This is really good writing and refreshing to read. I like the way everything you mention relates to the last two lines which act as a small surprise ending. Great job. You seem to have a natural talent for writing.

By the way, nice Drum set. I have a set of Whithalls since I was fourteen, no one appreciates drums anymore. Guess it could be the way I play them. LOUD!

It's no wonder we like the stuff. I mean, we're made of it. There's universal knowledge that we are soothed by it. The ocean, a river, a creek, it doesn't matter. In this case, I am thrilled to see we're in the shower with a certain someone.

That ending definitely made me sit up a little straighter. You knew exactly the reaction you were aiming for.

This almost feels like an ode forged out of love for water itself. "To take me to its depths" shows.... well, *depth* itself. Water is such a healing element. Some of my happiest memories are of rainy days or afternoons at the pool. Or, just a nice hot bath. This was a pleasant little read.
