eyes

eyes

A Poem by Randall
"

Lost Brothers and Sisters.

"

I wish my eyes were like my ears.
In one ear and out the other.

But I must learn to live with what my eyes have seen.
Other men and women have seen the same, maybe worst.
They have learned to live with it.

So, I will to,
For those, who have seen it and are no more.

A short yet very meaningful piece.... you write with strong words and vivid images....there is nothing worse than loss, of a sibling, a parent, a child....one really never recovers fully...always haunted like moments of terror....and this follow you for life....

Hi,
Very great art piece, a very deep feel of pain to let go but it doesnt leave because we are made unknown, and been together, never separable though people tried so many times to make us apart. parent child relationship is in one life and for two people to love bond keeps for lives together, the thought that we are together makes them bonded, though people come in between us.

Absolutely, my friend.
Randall, this piece carries a quiet heaviness that settles in slowly. That wish for the eyes to forget as easily as the ears is such a simple line, but it opens into something much deeper, the kind of memory that doesn’t fade just because we want it to. It’s a brief poem, but it lingers in the way the truest things often do. Thank you for your service, Randall.

This is stark and powerful. The way you grapple with what’s been seen—and the quiet resolve to carry on in memory of others—is deeply moving. Short, spare lines, but they hit hard.
