Practicing saying it.

Practicing saying it.

A Poem by Randall

I think I love you. Nope, that's not right.

I Believe I love you.  Nope, not right again.

I know I love you. Better, not quite there, a little doubt.

I live because of you, knowing that I love only you.

Oh, you are so close with that one.

Hold on, wait a sec. I think I got it. Ready?

I love you!

Simplest is sometimes best. No reason to sit around and dither with all the "I thinks" or "I believe" or "Maybes". Just makes you seem very unconfident in the answer. And it can come off the same way too if someone feels the need to really dress up a simple statement of fact with so many words. Saying I love you to someone you truly care about is a satisfying experience, and hearing it is too. This really drew attention to that.

There’s a sweetness in the way you circle the words until they finally land true. Simple, honest, and quietly charming.

Best say what you mean rather than what you think you mean? Perhaps?! Whatever said will be right or wrong.. then the fun begins as you sort out things - together!
