"A walk to the Creek."

"A walk to the Creek."

A Poem by Randall

Ophelia's creek ran through our land.
You and I would walk there.
We never brought a cup to drink from.
We simply used one another's hands to drink.
I from yours, you from mine.
The water from your hands tasted like,
"Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice."
You never said, if the water from my hands tasted like,
"Snips and Snails and Puppy Dog Tails."
But we smiled the whole time we drank from one another.
