You would give him up for me?

You expect me to be there Ash Wednesday to receive the cross?

You expect me to last for forty days through Holy Thursday?

You want me to act as if Sundays don't exist...

You want me there for your Sunday the day of Ascension?

You want me to receive the wafer and wine...

You fooled me once into believing....

You know I'm good for my word, if I say I'll be there...

You want me there, let your Son walk beside me there...

 God............One more time around, I'm ready, prove me wrong......Walk me home!

Such a powerful reckoning, Randall. The honesty in this wrestle with faith really lands. That last turn toward wanting to walk beside the divine stayed with me.

Curly Grace, sometimes faith is the hardest emotion to hold onto. Whether it is faith in God or an individual. It might be because of their actions or lack thereof. At the end of each day, we all struggle with our faith, holding onto what we can, hoping for an answer, realizing faith is perhaps all that we have holding us together.

It might be called a Leap of Faith, hoping there is a safe place to land on the other side, wherever that may be.
