"Came to you"

"Came to you"

A Poem by Randall

If I came to you..., would you know me?
Or would you send me away?

If I came to you..., would you show me?
Would you bring me..., to your heart?

The first time I came to you..., you were young!
You let me in most willingly without a single (?).

But this time..., yes..., this time, will it be the same?
Will you turn me away, thinking I am not real.
Laughing, saying you're too good to be true!

Will you throw me to the street..., before I can prove.
I am not like the false one..., who came before to you.

I will not..., take your heart from you... but... live within it.
You may live within mine..., for all time.

If I came to you..., would you let me in....
Or..., would you send me away?

Randall, this is such a tender and reflective piece. It feels like a quiet conversation of the heart... about trust, faith, and being welcomed with grace. Your words carry a sincerity that is both comforting and deeply meaningful. I truly adore the gentle spirit in your writing.
