thoughts of a grieving mother

thoughts of a grieving mother

A Poem by Danielle Taylor
"

Description of grief

"
God placed him in my life,
For a very short time,
He had my heart,
At the drop of a dime.

Now it's like I'm dying inside,
Because he's flown away,
Somebody give me a place to hide,
Hide from this suffering.

He's always on my mind,
His presence is what I need to find,
I look to the sky,
With tears in my eyes,
Asking somebody please,
Please tell me why.

Since the day,
He got called home,
I pay a price for loving him more than life!

The pain from his absence,
Is like jabs to my heart with a knife,
My tears flow from this torture,
Someone please, please help me cope.

Now I must fight to live,
Please don't say sorry,
Nothing can make it better,
For my life is now a life of misery.
