After a long prelude Of fog and rain Yellow sun Oceanic aspen Crisp coolness After the heady Intoxication of summer Thrift Stockpiling The psych-up And after the sleep Of excess and ease I feel the imperative Of fort-building As I stir ancient Dank, musty smells
