everything on the outside

it is a poem

i'm intruding.

as the world permeates me

like water through the "other brand" of

paper towel, i understand

it doesn't matter what i say

or think

i'm only out to meddle with

what's happening despite of me

the individual sounds

wadding together like burs

becoming noise

the color and light

not out to impress anyone

becoming a picture because I look

and the passersby who have

nothing to do with my story

probably have better ones

for you

than this

anyway

Everyone is entitled to a opinion. What you say and think may carry more weight than you've considered. In the overall picture your thoughts alone may not make a difference, but like minded thoughts can move mountains. Your poem conjured up many thoughts. I especially like your second stanza.

Excellent metaphor with the paper towel...No Bounty here...
really like the last stanza....but I imagine this speaker has some really good stories....
