Death is forever.

Is it pleasant or dreadful?

In heaven or hell?

 

Heaven is golden

Hell is a fiery lake.

Which do you prefer?

 

Heaven's gates await.

Take the straight and narrow path

To treasures and more.

 

Hell is full of screams.

Souls burn for eternity

Lucifer is pleased.

woah, this is awesome! i dont really beleive in heaven or hell, but if they do exist, then im pretty sure how you described them would be correct :)

i love that stanza^^ the question like, leaves the reader hanging and actually wondering where they're going to end upp. this is a really fantastic writer, df :)

I like this a lot as well. It really gets you thinking. It's also a bit of a scary subject. I agree, again, with Reaper. I think you should add a tiny bit more description. I love the structure of the poem. Very neat and it flows well. Great job.

Very nice Dark. I just think you should have put some more descriptions of heaven and hell, Mainly hell, because thats fun to describe. Other then that, nice concept. Ive seen poems about the two but not one comparing them before.
