Tears of Cruelty

A sad poem...

Her tears cut deep into her flesh

burning through the pores of her once jubilant face

the residue left scars of a haunting past

a past never to be spoken of.

Once long ago

her smile hid all the agony.

that vibrant smile

is now extinct

it will never come back

instead a monster is created

she unleashes it from within

and kindly provides cruelty

to those

who were so cruel to her.
