I'm Back.

Feel more like myself than I have felt in a long time.

I'm Back.

I'm finally back to being me again

The ink has been put back in my pen

I took a little break

Which I think was the classic mistake

Of misplaced faith.

I thought I had finally

Found someone who could me put the past behind me

I let the bonds of the love I feel for her define me

Softened me up, had me throwing up “I love yous”

But when it finally came time for her to pay dues

I took the backseat in her mind like yesterdays news

Don't fall in love

The one rule I had

I broke

Its quite sad

But now I'm glad

I'm back with my pen to restore the reputation I once had

I laugh like a maniac as pick up my pen and put down the cognac

Tears in my eyes as my fellow writers greet me with a pat on the back

Hurt me a little bit when out of my heart she barged

But as long as their writers in this world my family will be large
