Ch.9: Torture and Memories

Klaus' POV

        Since James is still not awake, as Elijah and I stand a safe distance away from him for when he does wake up, I finally fill Elijah in on everything he's missed since having been out of the house. Then, afterward, I go to a table that has all my torture tools. I then grab a knife. Elijah has never been one for torture, but he sometimes will oversee it when he deems it necessary. And this is one of those times. 

        "Let's get some answers. Shall we?" I say to my eldest brother. 

        "We shall," Elijah agrees. "He threatened Katerina. He deserves more torture than even you can bring."

        I give a smile. Then I stab the knife in my hand into his lower stomach, not waiting any longer for him to wake up.

William's POV

        William is still in flashback mode, his whole upper right arm turned to stone. He's still asleep and sweating, as he groans. He fidgets in the bed.

Katherine's POV

        After curing Will, I sit on his bedside, waiting for a result, hoping for him to live. 

        I rest a hand on the side of his face, as I see it working. 

        "Will, can you hear me?"

        As I wait for it to finish curing him and for him to wake up, I can hear the torture happening in the basement. Klaus always has been great at torture. 

James' POV

        James wakes up from the knife being stabbed into his lower stomach. He growls, as he sees Elijah and Klaus there. He smirks and sees the knife and says, "Elijah Mikaelson. Another one of the Mikaelsons who always wears the nice suits. Funny thing is what happens when you get blood on those suits. Huh?" He looks at them and has blood on his teeth, as he smirks.

William's POV 

        William is in his mind still. He's healing from the blood, though. He looks and sees a hallway of doors that is white, but the doors are different colors. He hears Kat and says, "Kat, I'm here." He's still asleep on the bed, but he's conscious in his mind. He looks at the doors and hears his memories from within them.

Katherine's POV

        I sit on his bedside and put hands on either side of his head, going into his head, where I then see where he is. That's when I appear behind him in his mind. 

        "I think you're gonna want to go through the door at the end of the hallway, if you want to wake up," I inform him.

William's POV

        William sees all the doors and then sees the one at the end of the hallway. He turns to her and looks behind her at the other end of the hallway, seeing himself whom has an evil grin on his face. He stands in front of her, protecting her from himself.

        His evil self smirks and walks slowly towards them.

        "Well, well. What do we have here?" He looks at him and Katherine. "The weak one and his love."

        He looks at them, stopping a few feet from them.

Katherine's POV

        I step in front of Will, watching evil Will.

        "No need to protect me. Just go through that door," I tell good Will. Then I tell evil Will, "He's not weak. Everyone is strong in their own way. What is it that you want?"

William's POV 

        William watches evil William walk over to them. He looks at Kat and nods and goes towards the door, but is kicked into a wall. He groans and spits up blood, which means his body does, too.

        Evil William sees him running to the door and does a spinning side kick to him. He watches him go into the wall and smirks. He turns back to Kat and says, "Oh, Kat. It's you I want. I'm his bad boy side, and he doesn't deserve you." He goes over and picks him up and throws William away from the door into another wall.

Katherine's POV

        I go to stand between good Will and evil Will. Then I throw evil Will away from him. 

        "If you want me, come and get me," I challenge him, as I help good Will up and open the door for good Will. I then make good Will as nicely but quickly as I can, go through the door, before I close the door. Then I face evil Will again.

William's POV

        William goes through the door and sees it shut behind him. He wakes up gasping for air in his body. He looks at Kat and feels something on his face. He sees that it's blood and says, "Kat, no, no. You can't defeat him." 

        Evil William gets up and smirks and says, "You are strong." He watches her and goes over and says, "You hurt me, you hurt him." He then looks at her.

Katherine's POV

        "I'm always strong," I remind him. "I don't have to hurt either of you, though," I add, before opening the door, going through it, and completely leaving Will's mind and going back into my own. Then I wake up and see that Will is already awake and cured. I then ask him, "Are you okay? How do you feel?"

William's POV

        William sighs in relief and says, "I'm glad that you are okay." He looks at her, blood on his mouth still, and looks away to hide the blood.

Katherine's POV

        "I'm glad you're okay, too. I'm sure there's a bathroom you can get cleaned up in close by," I reply. Then, when I say that, I see Klaus at the threshold of the bedroom. 

        "Katerina is quite right. There's a bathroom next door you can use," Klaus tells him.

William's POV

        William nods and sees him. He then stands up and is weak, but he slowly walks to the bathroom where Klaus has told him it is.
