An old man

An old man

A Poem by David P Carroll
"

Flowers

"
A fading flower withering dying old no rain no heat just cold once a beautiful pretty blue and red flower now black and dirt old flower no life no heat no sun just turning to dust in the bitter cold rain wishing to see the bright light again this lovely flower is no more than a pile of rubbish a beautiful flower in the sun a lovely smelling flower in the sun only sadness to see but our once beautiful flower is no longer beautiful only a dusty old rotten flower my eyes tear for a once so bright so beautiful so magical a smile brought to my face only a tear falls down my sad old face.
