Each New Day

Each New Day

A Poem by David O Whalen (O Haolin in Celtic)
"

Just a poem of appreciation

"

Each New Day

Clouds set ablaze by the rays

of the barely risen sun

Giving spark to the tinder

Of a day just begun

and the miracles, the miseries,

The newly born mysteries

That the birth of each new day

sets awash in the Sun

Each new day but one turn of the Earth

The light spinning in turn

Each new ray a day giving birth

Each day a new chance to learn

To learn anew to appreciate

Each one and everything

To enjoy life before it’s too late

And to let your spirit take wing
