I may be repetitious but I find it fascinating and helpful when I get to hear the author recite his own work. It brings more layers to the words and a reader can learn the rhythm with which to read the passages in.
I've seen several of your videos now David..... they are wild and fun and demonstrate the full measure of your writing that was just fine in print. Adding your personality and speaking rhythms just sweetens the pot all the more. Thanks for taking the time to produce these videos.
Oh…my…god…this was seriously spooky. I could hear those horrible screams and feel the unbearable agony. The hairs on the back of my neck sood on end and I got goosebumps by the end…very good write, I enjoyed it overall.
David, a great write as always this time on the long hand of evil ... how it relates to us in another life and brings its own special qualities to mix with us. Its a new twist on the experience of multiple personality when you realize that you know the person.
David, I know you lived for a time in China, you told me that..I just did not know what you were really up to so long ago..This was an eerie write and might make it hard to sleep tonight..a hand might come out to get me..You just keep them coming..love Kathie
Spellbinding story this one; falling from your lips with the silky smoothness of a fine aged brandy. I sat on the edge of my seat, and when it was done and just for fun I played it all over again. Your pieces wrought with the skill and craftsmanship that an expert "Smithy" would use creating the perfect sword. I so enjoy hearing you recite your own pieces; Your "Spoken Word Art" is divine sir.
well, two things i have to get out first....first, nice head cover, comrade! and second, the irony of this is that i just watched that movie with Jeff Fahey , Kim Delaney and Brad Douriff called "body parts" and this was eerily similar ....well told and very chilling tale...nice one, David!
Absolute genius. Where did you get that idea from? As has been mentioned before it does make a difference to hear the poem read. I just hope Tong Bao Lin doesn't exist! I will definitely be watchful if I ever go to China!
