Hold You DearA Poem by DaydreamingWhen tragedy struck close.Never in my life, would I dream of finding someone like you.
The smile you could produce, simply astonishing. Piercing my shell of depression like rockets firing. Your body moves with elegance and beauty, Making me smile, like it was your sole duty. Feelings blooming like flowers of Spring, Piercing my heart with your humorous sting. A simple date, a wondrous night, Your dress of white blessing us with light. Laughter, kisses and love. Flying through the night, a pair of doves. A horrifying screech, tears of sorrow. That drunk driver, your life is not his it can't be borrowed. That amazing dress, A beautiful red mess. I love you no matter where you'll be, Please just.... Don't leave me. Pause. "I'll clean the house, I'll walk the dog. When you wake up and put your freezing feet on my legs, I wont kick or scream. I'll go to your parents this year. I wont argue about dinner, its whatever you want." Play. Our last moment, you hand is slipping, Please don't go, I wont live with you missing. Your smile, a single tear. I'll love you forever, I hold you so dear. I smile, a million tears. I let you go, my greatest fears. Never in my life, would I imagine losing someone like you. © 2015 DaydreamingAuthor's Note
