A leader of the world rests uneasily in grace without seeming to do so. I think so anyway. But a leader of change in the world, the way it rides on the wave of virtue, doesn't sleep and if he does, he doesn't dream. For the new virtue is a barrel of many things.

We began with an idea of build, early in the last century .... what an American think-tank calls ' Davos World.' It is the consumer society that supports such an endeavor and basically that means credit cards and the shopping habit. 

Where virtuousness may also rely on the success of economic management and the need to go on being successful, it comes to rely on money. That is not necessarily a concern these days. Most people think money is sexy. But is it backed up by a sound family relation and values?

Liberty for all includes both the natives of the world and the urbanized lot. That combines a considerable amount of free thinking on issues of faith. There are children born everyday who look at each other across the divide and like a cupid and Thanatos, hope that their sibling relations will continue in the same friendly way.

Unlike England, America doesn't have a mother, instead she relies on a father culture. Is a father much more in the way he exercises his passions in a mix with reason? And if he is, does mother agree?

To combine two very opposite qualities in a person is a difficult task. Many try but few succeed and the world culture doesn't reward wannabes. Fire and ice, burning and putting the other out is a difficult place to establish a base of stability. Unless, it is also magical. The American plough may have destroyed the royally divine magic in the world but have they reinvented the genre?
