Body language is a significant and essential part of our social intercourse. It adds to our experience of the words and expressions we engage. It makes it cool. It wouldn't surprise me if someone discovered the connection between the term ' hippy ' and the the way hips come to play a part in body language.

Hips may well be the point of commencement of a big part of our cultures in the world. Venus was reported to have worn a girdle that provided her with an attendant force with which to engage her activities.

In the animal world the design on the skin presents a straight view of the nature and personality of the individual. The lizards, especially the garden variety known as anoles, come into contact with the human and provide an interesting picture of the the ' talking ' random design on their bodies. I used to collect anoles, in my younger age, and was fascinated with the shapes and forms on their skin.

Its like the  painting we encounter of the ancient days, of heaven , hell and the world, together with people, faces, the sun, moon, beautiful women ..... all presented on one surface. It portends to tell an incredible tale of heroes, princesses and terrible monsters that spin together in a tale that is quite riveting on the mind.

These days, I take a broken branch from a tree and on the light sweet green of the bark, I spot the same stories. Its a little faded, so I take a pen and trace the outlines of the many forms on it. While doing it, my mind dwells on other bodies I may have encountered before .... mainly of the female gender and perhaps even my own. Sigh! Maybe I ought to get a tattoo.
