The word babe in the American lexicon refers to an object of its passions where the meaning of such an object is not fixed. It is a label, a slang which lends itself to a partial relation on issues but will not swear as to affective quality. Its convenient and it makes for a great social attitude. But the term conjures a curiosity as to its many meanings and creates an interest for study.

 

We are many things at one time and it is often a great inconvenience for someone to refer and hold on to our word of being just one. We gargle something incoherent at such a reference. To live the life of simply one stoic identity appears stifling and threatens to destroy the very life we hope to enjoy.

 

In favor of such a socialization experience, a person may come to set aside a great many things that is in their personal interest and this produces a strange generosity in our experiences that comes into inquiry later. But the babe that we are in contact with is sympathetic to our sacrifice. Sadly, we come to realize this only much later.

 

Virtually all the references to the term babe simply means ' someone I know, whom I may also adore.' That is not lost on the experience of the babe in our experiences, be it a lover, wife, child or friend. It comes to a whimsical and entertaining view of it's personality in relation to us. In some instances, it forms such an attachment to us that we suffer the woes of self love.

 

It is in a sense the mother of all our impulses, notwithstanding our perception of its age and maturity. It is the eternal youth, the fruit on the tree, the light of the morning sun and so much more. But our habits with regards to our non-commitment in relations affects our relations with it as well. At most times, it is left guessing as to what we might have meant.

 

As we speak of this at this time, we are reminded of how much we all want the same thing ... some peace, joys and the ability to continue being productive with our lives. To do so, we ought to get to know the babe better. Wha'd ya say, babe?
