A Geiger SkyA Story by DayranTales of the Velvet Rock : IIX
A personal relationship that is founded on the possibility that the passions have morphed into a rock, supposes a certain quality to its texture. Is it truly human? Have we been going through centuries of social relations founded on a willed social decorum of the human and something else resembling a rock. Isn't that a little like the bionic man with a Harvard degree?
Our science and the social planners have for years come into a leadership on these issues and yet we are constantly patching up the best laid plans with newer and newer promises. In the meantime the younger generation is born with less and less hopes regarding the credibility of what the social elders do. Teen talk will escalate into the need for a final solution, and if that is left to luck, we will wake up to a geiger sky someday, substituting for the plain human ego with something that measures ionizing radiation.
What can we do? We can look around us today and do the needful. We can at this time bring an organization of the world to view our growing needs and to agree to some basic framework that may form a milestone in our efforts into the future. It needs to be participated by all who understand the nature of our evolving experiences, both mind and heart.
Where we are able to form such a union today of the opposites, we will be able to understand such a need to create a guide for others in time to come. We need to do that in us, in the individual experience. If we succeed we won't need wild horses to pull us to get together.
In connection with this I can't help but feel that nature itself at this time, may have anticipated our need to be sure and for us to take the time to examine the options available. Then perhaps we can find a way to get together, review each other on the issues and come to understand our levels of acceptance. It would challenge us all.
