The Politics of UnityA Story by DayranRace relationsClearly … the severest issue afflicting the development of mind and the humanity condition in the world … is the impact it brings to race relations. It translates into divisions according to color … faith … cultural practice … tribes … and knowing. There's a preponderance of attention … brought to the issue in these times … and it occupies our daily attention … like bread and butter. It is the most irascible factor … on the road to human development.
In Syria … the differences in tribal loyalties has forced millions … out of their country in an enforced migration to Europe. In India … a mob lynched a Moslem allegedly for cow slaughter … in a state that has banned the practice. In both instances … the rule of law has been completely ignored. Democratic elections in Syria … determine the rule of the majority … to which each individual tribe is bound to adhere to. The practice of law and order in India … would have ensured that … a police report … would have brought the alleged perpetrator to book.
In almost all such cases … it demonstrates the failure to comply with an organization of society … that the individual has come to subscribe to. As a member of humanity … we are no doubt familiar with the disparate conditions for its development around the world … that ultimately unites us as one being … and yet the impulses with which we view individual actions of difference … raises such a storm of protest at the impunity of such thoughts and actions … that man fails in his compliance to organizational guidelines … established for the purpose.
In the cultural practice of dharma … the individual is schooled in the … need for human development to be undertaken … in all its many possibilities … including issues that are clearly in contradiction to one another. Hence an organization of community … as big as the world … was created to undertake such an exercise. In the course of a lifetime … we observe the play of the opposites … and sometimes that takes place … at the loss of lives. The dharma student is reminded … that even at such severity of conditions … it is the work of the life forces in man.
In Ferguson … an unarmed black man … was shot by a police officer … who was Caucasian. We are familiar with the qualities of fair-skinned individuals … who see by their light of vision … an orderly sense of life in their attitudes … that is derived from their own singular orientation to life … on account of their natures. It turns hasty sometimes … and figures … it is the only viable alternative to life … and negates the possibility of others. That's a little like the human prick saying … ' I contribute to the generation of life and the rest of my body doesn't.'
The propensity to think … negates the sexual impulse … since they need to act in a manner that is mutually exclusive. This may be extended to all manner of actions … that we undertake … which are in that way … a dismissal of something … to bring something else into manifestation. Man wholly dismissed the life of the ape … to evolve into the human. Imagine the violent nature … inherent in such an act of advancement. Yet … we will defend that entirely.
The key it appears … is in the proper cognition of every factor … in the sampradaya of the human experience … as playing a unique role in the development of our overall identity as human … or the future specie. If for any reason … the future specie should rush against the grain … it produces the effect of an incomplete human development … that will fail to rise to the manifestation of that new specie. But man it appears … can intuit the light of that future specie … and bring that to his bearing … in engaging the human condition. Its a relation that we can at times … identify on the basis of specie to specie. In the encounter … it is a clear acceptance of the fact … that one will continue living and the other will not. Its a merge of the qualities … into a final being in the universe. But to achieve that completely … man is tasked with first giving up on any false representation of the future specie … and to develop his own physiology … in a physical act … for that achievement. Hence the conflicts we view in the world … is a matter of difference … between those who do and those who don't … and the claims we make about what constitutes the right approach.
The nature of the intuition … regarding the future specie … exists in the human condition … by the support of the anima qualities … that we passed through … to get to man. Despite its violent background … it understands the nature of the priorities … and has in my condition … granted me the opportunity to work my human development … primarily the mind … to its optimum level. In doing so … any representation of mind that it has engendered over the ages … is being brought to total diminution. This has shocked me … and brought me to great concern about my callous natures. Yet he insists that … that's the way the achievement is made.
Our cultures pile up all thoughts of a different specie under the legend of the dragon. In the movie version of the theme … as presented in ' Dragonheart ' … the dragon calls on the knight to kill him … for its the dragon who continues to nurture … the past anima qualities of ignorance and false notions … in its wayward son. Its the only way for man … to take the tentative steps on his own … to work out his own development as human. In a socio-religious context … it is also a reference to the crucifixion of the Christ. In denying any knowledge of him … Peter demonstrates the loss of contact we experience … when disengaged with the primal-anima energies of our past.
Face to face with these two aspects of our creative energies … I figure I understand the police officer in Ferguson … the President of Syria … and the Indian mob at the lynching. But its more than that. It feels like … I could have been that police officer … that president … that mob … and it raises the hellish specter that … ' I'm ( mysteriously ) doing it all.' No doubt my understanding needs greater refinement … but its a long way from taking the law into my own hands. Its a daily act of discernment between what constitutes … the human quality … and all the rest that do not. And it continues with the full volitional participation of my understanding … on every issue … every day.
In the Bhagavad Gita … the Vasudeva says … ' I move men around like puppets to do the will of creation.' Its not too hard to see how in 500 bc … a man could have identified himself that way wholly with a quality of the mind at unity. It was an early message of man and creation … brought to minds only then waking to the light of the world. We are therefore grateful for the strides we have made in understanding the mind … science … and the identity of man in creation. Our course in the civilization experience … promises us that more can make that achievement in times to come. © 2015 DayranReviews
