In Search of Govinda

Just normal ... not good

I've been thinking of an old friend … in recent days … and attempting to discern between … good and evil. Its in a spot … we don't hardly bring any inquiry to … as if … its above all that. I'm talking about my teddy bear. I had got used to the idea of being punished … or yelled at … and had come to have doubts about my own worth at being good. But Teddy … in contrast … was spared any punishment … and came by default to fit the meaning of good. Its a reference that raises some … split ends … at this time … and I thought I'll take a look at it.

The Indics named the mysterious … wondrous … perfect being of the universe … as Govinda. The legends of course … used it to refer to the characters in their plays … such as the Vasudeva and his brother Balram. In Sanskrit … ' go ' refers to the creative energy … ' vin ' is insight … and ' da' would refer to a person. But at no point in the literature on Govinda … is there any reference to him as being good. He was simply the person who kept pace with the flow of the creative energy.

However … in the teachings that took shape … in respect of social organization and order … the word had slipped into a … moral sense of good … that eventually served to guide society … in its actions. Its much the same thing … today … when we encounter public acts in the media … we find that we have a long way to go … before we are able to name anything as … good or bad. And yet … if we don't do that … we are riddled by an unsettling sense that … we are trying to avoid something in our attention.

I am wondering … though … whether the Indics were right in referring to the perfect being as a person … the way … we borrow the term person …. from our experience of being. The word … ' vinjnana ' means science … and when added to the word … ' go ' … as Govinjnana … would refer to the … science of creation … that created the universe … the world … and man. Thereafter … where the man … rises to learn of himself and his relation to the creative energies … only then would man be right in calling himself … ' Govinda '… not before.

Its like the practice of baptizing babies … we are offered the help needed … to make the identity connection … with something … we haven't yet achieved … if only to teach us about ourselves … and then like disposable diapers … we are asked to throw it away … and rebuild it again with knowledge. We approach the help we receive today … be that heaven's light itself … and ask if that is why they have withdrawn such help … readily given … before we had even asked for it. The only response I receive in intimation … is that I will know … when I finish my learning of it.

But I'm grateful to learn … that the withdrawal of heaven's light … is not in respect of my having sinned … but in mistaking my tutored help … as my achievement or my sense of being good. Once I became prepared to dismiss the attachment to being good … I felt free to learn … without the shackles of goodwill hunting. I am entirely aware … of my being identified … with the former Govinda … on the occasions that have arisen … in the course of my learning. But they had made it clear to me … that its not me!

My own passions displayed a tremendous courteousness … when it offered to open up … its experience of the Govinda … for me to review its past experience. In the course of our engagement … I came to find that the Govinda experience … in its true form … no longer exists. In its place … the creative energies have cultivated something I have named … Govind jr. This experience … in many people … has been recently brought to a new understanding about itself … the most common being … a new found self integrity of the individual.

Undoubtedly … the creative energies are moving on with their development of the human condition. At this time … it appears to have commenced the initial steps for the realization of the perfect being. However … for many … uninitiated as to its intent … the opportunity has presented many different views based on their personal interpretations of the experience. It has the makings of a new … leela … for the next cycle … up to 4000 bce. Such a leela would no doubt … be useful to engage a little play … to help with the social and individual understanding … of that aspect of progeny … which is taking place in people's lives.

I had previously referred to the experience of … Govind jr. … as a new specie for the future … currently in preparation for its manifestation … as part of and the advancement of the human experience. No doubt the experience may be viewed in many different ways … with respect to its personality … around the world. The same sex issue … is one example of the way the issue is being translated … that highlights its qualities of self love … intelligence … righteousness … and the profound manner in which it can carry away the mind of an individual … based on their fondest preferences.

The association with Govind jr. … brought an unusual surprise … as the review went into the depths of the passions. He introduced me to an … early marsupial … that's of the Australis experience … that cultivated one of the world's earliest dreams of itself. It had produced the experience of Atlantis in the West … through the sperm whales … and the experience of Lemuria … through giant sloths … in the Eastern experience. The perception bears a close resemblance to our specie development today. I promised myself … that I'm going to learn to take that more seriously.

How would man come to know … Govind jr. … or a rose of another name … better? That's a question that's going to occupy my attention … in the weeks ahead. He has alternatively been a range of many differing personalities … in the mind and reality of each individual. The internet is filled with … visitors from other planets … ancient elders … satanic identities … wiccan … channeling psychics and so forth. Am I being aided … straight … without any more mischievousness? I don't know! But it helps to take a learning attitude about these things … and apply ourselves rationally to the responses. It does after all … involve us … man … as the specie that is exploring these possibilities.
