Innocent ReboundA Poem by DayranA second chance
Sally's on the rebound, so's the stock market, Can't say which will last longer, you'll have to wait, But the market wondered whether its true, So many journalists said its holding and its good, But Sally didn't wait for a review, knowing she's cool, Figured a second chance was around the corner, Time again to face up to the true blue. The skies looked over with eyes that were misty, The winds said they liked the fact that she's weary, Mother earth sighed and said nothing. Seen it before, The fires didn't subside, asked whether we were sure, Would be loads of fun, said the Merry one, The tears, the joys, its what man wants! Father just got in, the kids are jumping for joy, He hugged the kids and looked for her, But she's already into the kitchen yonder, gone. © 2011 Dayran |
