A Two-Faced CoinA Poem by Dayran
Here it comes....I'm going to say it like it is! The kid is as usual bugging my conscience. I don't know if this is relevant, or whether it matters, In fact I don't think it is, actually.... relevant I mean, What?....I'm doing it now....Ok where?....where?.., I told the ex-wife one thing and another to the boy, There....I've said it....can I go now? No...it's not the same, People are different....social skills being what they are, You....you....say...what you think they want to hear, Everybody does that...its a matter of being civil, friendly. She's from Rome, so I said her personal nature is physical, Like a mountain, a town square, the capitol, things like that, The boy's here. So I told him to seek an individual identity, To know the individual self as knowledge and realization. She developed the skills for the social circle of things, He came to study the classics and the experience of life, It's not my fault....that...that...they got separated! Is it? Why don't you wash something in the kitchen... ? Bidayah's twin knows something of it. He's over there, Doing his part. Lives in...sounds like...well I forgot.
