Is This Death?

A love poem

Where is my pulse?

My heart must have stopped

must be cardiac arrest

for you have stopped it beating.

Where are my respirations?

My breathing has stopped

can't take a breath

you made me forget to breathe.

Is this death?

If so it is the sweetest

for all I see and hear is you

never let me awaken....

you made my heart stop

you took my breath

you are my life...

I can tell that you like writing romantic poems. :) I loved it. Comparing death with love was different but wonderfully put together. Poems are definitely your strong point. You should make a whole book with your poems. Keep at it!

I would like to think of death as sweet. However, I believe in an eternal ife and I cling to that until the day I am no more on this earth and I am in a far, far, better place. Nice picture. Lucie
