Sympathy for Satan

Life or death.

 

Hate or love

 

Lies or truth

 

Theres always a right or wrong.

 

But inbetween there lies beneath.

 

A wrong doing,but a right intention

 

A loud thought,with a deafened question.

 

A misunderstood mind that is labeled evil

 

Why is the human race is so hurtful?

 

Why do we judge are own people?

 

Why do I have sympathy for the devil?

 

Perhaps he isn't evil

 

Just sad and misguided,

 

confused and hated.

...oh, how i love this write. you should read Milton, Paradise Lost (if you haven't)...you might like it. sympathy for the devil...if Jesus is selfless and the devil is the opposite, then all that really means is that devil is just selfish...is that really so bad. perhaps i empathize too much with the devil already...nice write!
