Craving Your Love

Craving Your Love

A Poem by PetiteGemini
"

This poem is about a girl who longs to have her ex back, but she cannot have him for he is getting hurt by another while she is trying to save him from hurt.

"

Tears of blood

Run down my face

Longing for your love

Scared of what is to come

Of me and you

As you praise her

While she beats you down

And runs off with another

My heart needs mending

Every time you kiss her

Each cut, bruise, and break

Makes me crave you even more

My arms are slashed

My bones are broken

My body is bruised

This cannot be mistaken

I've heard that

Absence makes the

Heart grow fonder

Whoever said that never

Cared for someone as

Much as I care for you

Love can harm

Love can heal

Never would I have

Guessed that it could

Do both and make me

Crave you even more

Forsaken love is what I

Long for, thirsting for more

Until then, my dear

I shall cry my tears of blood

This one is more dark, but I really like it. I think everyone can relate to this too - seeing your ex who you still love with another girl that treats him badly. It really does hurt and you put those feelings really well together in this poem.
