Jack and Jill (Twisted Nursery Rhyme)

Jack and Jill (Twisted Nursery Rhyme)

A Poem by Death's Poet

Jack and Jill went up the hill

With a bottle of rum and time to kill

They told Jack's mom they were fetching a pail

Therefore that's become the common tale

Jack fell down and lost his crown

For when one drinks they become quite a clown

And swaying around, Jill fell too

And they both blacked out, as drunk teenagers do.

A similar rhyme was doing the rounds on cheeky Valentines cards when I was a teen;
Jack and Jill went up the hill
to fetch a pail of water
Poor old Jill forgot her pill
And a baby came nine months after.

The second stanza cracked me up. Great twisting Shadow. xD
