Extra Sensory

Extra Sensory

A Poem by Death's Poet

I live with things I cannot see

And disbelieve in what's in front of me

I love the sounds only I can hear

But the noise of the world fills me with fear

I adore the touch no one else can feel

To me you're alive, to me you're still real

I smell the flowers no one else can breath in

That no one else can is nearly a sin

I love the taste of your lips, is only for me

Because you are my ghost, no one else can see

This is so beautiful. To me, I interpret and relate this to a personal situation in where you are the only person who sees someone for who they are and how only you truly know what's good for you. I don't know if that's your meaning behind it, but I really love how even if it's not it's still able to be connected to something else and could then have multiple meanings.
