In The Childs Best Interest

I feel the need to voice my protest!
What you’re doing is not in the child’s best interest.

Now I thank you for taking them when I went to Jail.
I don’t understand Why they must go through this hell,

they are probably trying real hard to think of,
what they did so wrong to lose Mommies Love.

They always internalize and we both know that’s true.
Does punishing my children sound like Justice to You…

The fears they are holding deep down inside,
Could easily be eased by a 30 minute ride…

Please don’t let these fears turn into hate,
Help them now before its to late.

I committed the crime so my time is fair,
it’s punishing my children, and don’t you care.

Well I’ve said my piece Then put you to the test,
Please do what is really in the child’s best interest…
