If Tomorrow Never Comes

If Tomorrow Never Comes

A Poem by Deborah Kimble
"

Thoughts I was having on a day when I really needed to know if anyone was listening

"

If tomorrow never comes, will anyone remember my name?

Will I leave this world any different? Or will it all remain the same?

Have I ever made an impact on the lives of those I knew?

Did I give all I could or was there more that I could do?

Did my smile catch someone’s eye, changing their whole day?

Did my words catch the hearts of someone in need of knowing all would be okay?

In all my days living in this world, can I be proud of I am? Know that I was real, never a fake.

The thoughts of people matter little, not as much as the judgment of my spirit and my maker

Its hard to feel so empty Deborah. I think you've come to the right place. There are many kind and gentle people here - I wasn't there but I guess to me its the online equivalent of San Fransisco during the first Summer of Love.
I liked your work.
