A secret 'Why?'

What did I do?

Cracked realization is making the ceiling of truths cave in on me
were they even truths? They're not just mine
Allowing in the light and the flies and I still remain blind
You'd think by now I'd be able to see
my wrongs and ask how I had hurt you
but I've lived in the subterranean too
long and God, I want to know why I'm giving an apology.
