Sarcasm

Sarcasm

A Poem by DecentlyOkayWriter
"

Watch your tone.

"
An apple a day keeps anyone away if you throw it hard enough
-Unknown
Oh, the horrible world of sarcasm.
You poor little souls who fall into the chasm
Just because you didn't understand when the tour guide said
"I heard if you get real close, you'll see a unicorn- do send me a picture.", so you fell in and bled
But don't worry, it's a one time mistake
I'm sure it won't happen again, your brain was just a little late
Do understand when someone talks like this;
Short and snappy, irritated and bristling
That means they don't mean what they say-
Bonus points if they roll their eyes or say goodbye
Because sarcasm works better that way.
