A Poem by DecentlyOkayWriter
"

what a laugh, don't be daft

"
there's a girl
who thinks I'm over her
what a laugh
don't be daft
when those hair ribbons twirl
I can feel my love unfurl
stars in her eyes
only because they make me remember a time
when we were blind
and she used to say
"I really love you. . "

This reminds me of a poem by Pablo Neruda, " I can write the saddest poem of all tonight.
I loved her, and sometimes she loved me too."

Not nonsense. There are people who affect us so much we can't get over them no matter how hard we try. The feelings left behind can be really intense.
