Sweater

Sweater

A Poem by DecentlyOkayWriter
"

it's getting warm

"
the crisp autumn breeze already long forgotten
I've broken a sweat in my sweater, why did I wear cotton?
I glance up to you as you hand meets mine
my heart nearly stops, someone call the hotline
"That sweater looks great, you should wear it more often."
I can already feel my hate for the garment begin to soften
is it the heat or fluster that makes my cheeks turn red?
must be the former- flustering? I wouldn't be caught dead
"Maybe I will, just for you!" mumbled jokingly. but I believe. .
I'll be wearing this sweater through the hundred-and-threes
